We are happy to report some more good news - INSTAP has decided to fund SEEP's Karystian Kampos survey with another grant for the summer of 2008. The survey is now almost complete and we hope to be able to make our results public soon. The plans for this summer are to revisit a few of the seemingly more important findspots among the ones located in 2006 and 2007 and to begin the study of the collected material. We are also fortunate to have Dr. Athanassios Vionis from the University of Leiden this summer who will be studying the late Roman and Byzantine material from the survey.

About SEEP
Southern Euboea Exploration Project (SEEP) is a non-for-profit organization under the aegis of the Canadian Institute in Greece created in 1984 to promote the advancement of research on history and archaeology of Southern Euboea, Greece.
Purpose
This web log is SEEP's attempt to embrace the more advanced ways of communication among its members and friends and with the broader community of people interested in the Karystian past. However, this blog is not only about the past or archaeology but most of all about our personal relationship with the Karystia, Greece and the Aegean.
